Outstanding South Carolina community newspaper group in a growing market seeks a news leader to manage local and regional news coverage across multiple platforms by collaborating with our broadcast and interactive media teams. We are significantly more than a leading 29,000 circulation daily newspaper, a twice-weekly, three weeklies and various niche publications and we need much more in a news leader than an ordinary editor. Our newsroom is also home to a bureau for WBTW News13, a CBS affiliate and the leading TV station, and, the leading news Web site serving our market.

You have a minimum of 10 years of newspaper news experience with at least five years in a leadership role in a daily newspaper newsroom. You understand the necessity of maintaining the highest ethical standards while attacking the changing dynamics of media with a passion that seeks new opportunities through extensive engagement with up-and-coming digital and multimedia journalists.
